Privacy policy

Shift Tools is a trade name of SHIFT LLC, a limited liability company registered in the Republic of Armenia, with its address at 5, street 17, Argel, Nor Hachn, Kotayk region, 2404, Republic of Armenia. We are the controller of personal data collected through shift-tools.online (the "Service"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Files you use in the tools

Files you open in a tool are used only to provide that tool's function, such as showing and saving your document. We do not sell them, share them with third parties for their own purposes, or use them for advertising.

What we collect

• Purchase data: your email address, the plan you bought, and billing country. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure form and are not stored by us.
• Messages: what you send us by email, so we can answer.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time), kept for security and troubleshooting.
• Local storage: small settings such as your preferred billing period, saved in your own browser.

Why we use it and on what basis

• To provide the plan you bought and manage your subscription (performance of a contract).
• To answer your questions and handle refunds (performance of a contract, legitimate interest).
• To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interest).
• To meet accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service: Stripe for payments and our hosting provider for the website. They process data on our instructions or as independent controllers for payment processing. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Armenia. Where this happens, we make sure the data stays protected, for example through contractual safeguards with those providers.

How long we keep it

Purchase records are kept for as long as accounting law requires (currently at least 5 years under Armenian accounting law). Support emails are kept for up to 3 years after our last exchange. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months.

Cookies

The Service does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe sets cookies on its checkout page that are necessary to process payments and prevent fraud.

Your rights

Under the Armenian Law on Protection of Personal Data you can ask to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights given by the GDPR: to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To use these rights, write to info@shift-tools.online. You can also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Republic of Armenia, or with the data protection authority in your country.

Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
